Senior Ming Zhe Choong was recently featured in the College of Arts and Sciences Extraordinary Journey's section, which highlights the journeys of exceptional Cornell Seniors.
Choong is a double major in Sociology and Chemistry as well as a triple minor in Inequality Studies, Demography, and Law and Society. He was recently selected as a Presidential Merrill Scholar and won the Robert Wertheimer Honors Thesis Award for his thesis examining the impacts of college textbooks costs on Cornell undergraduates. Choong lists Sociology professor Anna Haskins as a faculty member who made the most significant contribution to his education while at Cornell.
